Volunteers who are students from Xavier University spent their volunteer day working with A Community Voice conducting outreach into low to moderate income communities. They informed residents of our environmental justice campaign against a garbage incinerator coming into New Orleans and collected over 200 signatures on a petition against this garbage incinerator.
